The customer, One50 West End Avenue, a 29-story residential high-rise in Manhattan, was facing significant challenges due to a severely leaky central ventilation system. The leaks caused excessive energy waste, negative pressure issues that made doors difficult to open, and inconsistent ventilation that transferred odors between apartments. The building was also at risk of non-compliance with NYC Local Law 97. Aeroseal was brought in to address these problems.

Aeroseal implemented a multi-faceted solution that included sealing the inaccessible duct risers with its proprietary technology, installing self-balancing vent controls, and rebalancing the rooftop fans.
