The customer, Mecca Central Railway Station, faced significant HVAC duct leakage and indoor air quality issues that prevented the handover of their new facility. They engaged vendor Aeroseal and its local partner Advanced World Trading to utilize the Aeroseal duct sealing service to address the challenge.

Aeroseal's solution involved a robotic inspection to identify leaks, followed by cleaning, disinfecting, and sealing the ducts from the inside using their proprietary aerosol-based technology. The results were a 98.2% reduction in duct leakage, translating to an estimated annual energy savings of 424,987 SAR. This successfully resolved the IAQ issues, ensured passenger comfort, and allowed for the system's early handover.
