Hilton Riyadh Hotel slashes duct leakage 95% with Aeroseal

The Hilton Riyadh Hotel faced a significant challenge in meeting ventilation codes for its new luxury complex due to excessive leakage in its concealed exhaust ductwork. With limited access for traditional manual sealing methods, the project's completion was at risk. The general contractor, Al Latifia, brought in the vendor Aeroseal to utilize its innovative duct sealing technology to address the problem.

Aeroseal implemented its aerosol-based sealing process to effectively seal the leaks from inside the ducts without requiring full access. This solution successfully reduced total duct leakage from 33,089 CFM to 1,279 CFM, a 95% improvement. For the customer, this resulted in the project meeting its critical timeline and achieving substantial annual energy savings of close to SAR 215,000. Aeroseal enabled the hotel to open with HVAC systems performing as designed.
