Gypto Pharma cuts duct leakage by 35,700 CFM with Aeroseal

Gypto Pharma, a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in Egypt, faced a significant challenge in maintaining precise environmental controls at its effervescent production facility. Due to excessive duct leakage in its HVAC systems, the company struggled with unstable humidity and temperature, which put its moisture-sensitive products at risk. To address this, Gypto Pharma enlisted Aeroseal to seal the ductwork.

Using the Aeroseal process, the vendor sealed approximately 35,700 CFM of air leakage across multiple systems. This restored proper ventilation performance, allowing the facility to maintain its required conditions and eliminating the need for supplemental equipment. The project resulted in substantial savings, reducing annual electricity consumption by over 1 million kWh and saving E£ 2.04 million per year, with a payback period of just 21 months.
