Beazer Homes achieves 1.5 ACH50 airtightness with Aeroseal, saving $1,500 per home

Beazer Homes, a national production homebuilder, faced the challenge of consistently achieving the very low air leakage rate of 1.5 ACH50 required for Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) certification across thousands of homes annually. Their previous methods were unreliable for production-scale building. To meet this goal, they turned to vendor Aeroseal and its AeroBarrier air sealing solution.

The solution implemented by Aeroseal used the AeroBarrier process to automatically seal leaks throughout the building envelope, reliably achieving the target 1.5 ACH50 on every home. This allowed Beazer Homes to eliminate a previous flash foaming process, saving approximately $1,500 per house.
