Aegis MOS transforms Enercon’s quality and production information infrastructure

Enercon, a Maine-based contract manufacturer serving medical, defense and commercial customers, needed a single-source, real-time, paperless MES to improve manufacturing execution, traceability and document control across its SMT, through‑hole, cable and chassis assembly operations. To meet that need they engaged Aegis Software and deployed Aegis MOS as their enterprise manufacturing operations and documentation platform.

Aegis Software implemented MOS (including modules such as iView, iTrac, iQ, xLink and the inSite mobile app) to deliver a single SQL backbone, paperless work instructions, real‑time defect capture and full device history records. The result: defect reporting times went from typically a month to real time, the top two weekly reported defects dropped by 90%, DPMO fell by 80%, reports are automated and Enercon staff configure MOS without specialist coding — delivering sustained quality, traceability and operational visibility.
