AEW Invest, a company with an investment focus on sustainable real estate, faced the challenge of reducing operating costs and energy consumption at its ONE COLOGNE property while improving tenant comfort as part of its broader ESG strategy. To meet these goals, they partnered with aedifion to implement its cloud platform for data analysis and building optimization.

By utilizing the aedifion cloud platform, the operating team was able to implement a modern, demand-oriented control system that identified significant optimization potentials. The results were substantial, including annual savings of €36,100 in operating costs, 274 MWh in energy, and 74 tons of CO2 emissions, all while increasing comfort for the building's tenants.
