Showroomprive.com, founded in 2006, is one of Europe’s leading online private sales companies (over €480M revenue in 2014 and 2,000,000+ parcels shipped). As it expanded across Spain, Italy, Portugal, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland, the company needed a more stable, customizable payments platform that supported local payment methods, mobile shoppers and smarter fraud handling to improve checkout conversion and customer experience.

Showroomprive partnered with Adyen to roll out customized, responsive payment pages and local methods (including iDEAL and Multibanco) across multiple markets faster than planned. Results included a single-page iDEAL flow that drove +5% conversion in the Netherlands (similar uplifts across Europe), automated Multibanco refunds to reduce support workload, mobile payments now accounting for 45% of sales, and dynamic 3D Secure-driven fraud controls that cut chargebacks and nearly eliminated unpaid orders—paving the way for further multi-currency international growth (coverage in 167+ countries).
