Just Eat Takeaway (JET) wanted to fix inconsistent checkout flows and payment options across markets to create a smoother customer experience. To do that, JET worked with Adyen on a unified payments and checkout upgrade.

Adyen helped JET unify payments across borders and add more local payment methods, digital wallets, and instant payment options. The result was an 86% faster rollout of new payment features, a 1.5% average increase in checkout-to-order conversion, and a perfect customer experience score from the Baymard Institute. JET also saw higher tips, fewer unused vouchers, and less time spent on PCI compliance and payment operations.
