Ecosa is an Australian luxury sleep brand (founded 2015) with global growth ambitions that needed a scalable, stable payments solution and an ecommerce platform with an open API to let its development team customize checkout, improve conversion rates, and support local payment methods across new markets. The challenge was to find a “just right” combination that reduced friction (no redirects), handled PCI securely, and gave granular control over fraud and authorization settings.

Ecosa implemented Adyen’s payments platform with PrestaShop via Adyen’s dedicated plugin, enabling on-site card acceptance, stored card data, native 3D Secure 2, and local methods like Alipay and WeChat Pay, plus data-driven fraud protection and A/B testing. Within three months authorization rates improved by 1.5% and—combined with increased online shopping during COVID-19—sales grew 200%, while the solution supported rapid international expansion and higher revenue targets.
