Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences rebuilds a 23-department site with Advomatic

The Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences, the foundation of undergraduate education at Stanford University, required a full website redesign to create a strong, accessible, and modern web presence. Their challenge was to better communicate the school’s mission and provide clear information to students, donors, and staff. They engaged Advomatic for this large-scale Drupal 8 project.

Advomatic implemented a streamlined content system with maintainable list structures and a robust Solr search. They created a visually rich design using Panelizer, Node Displays, and Pattern Lab, which included an eye-catching homepage transition effect. The solution provided easily editable content at different permission levels. Post-launch, Advomatic continues to provide ongoing support to Stanford H&S for minor improvements and bug fixes.
