Speed Control System at Brussels Airport

Brussels Airport and its ground handlers needed a safer way to manage electrical ground support equipment (GSE) in baggage-sorting halls. They selected ADVEEZ and its Speed Control System, including the Turtle box module, through a public bid after a pilot project involving Brussels Airport Company, Swissport, and Aviapartner.

ADVEEZ implemented an automated speed control solution that progressively reduces GSE speed from 25 km/h to 5 km/h when entering baggage halls. The system operates 24/7, works in industrial airport conditions without added noise or dust issues, and does not interfere with existing low-frequency systems. The result was a significant improvement in worker safety and work quality for Brussels Airport and its handlers.
