System Integration Company - Customer Case Study

System Integration Company, a Korea-based integrator, needed an ATM platform that could handle growing peripheral connectivity and stricter data-security/back-up requirements. Their requirements included 12 USB ports for I/O expansion, hardware RAID for data protection, support for three simultaneous displays, and flexible mounting options to fit varied bank installations. They engaged Advantech and evaluated the EPC-B2274 platform for this project.

Advantech delivered the EPC-B2274 configured with 12 onboard USB ports (expandable via mini‑PCI), Intel Gen 7.5 graphics supporting three independent displays, dual HDDs plus a PCIe RAID card configured as RAID 1 to prevent single‑drive failures, and optional Wi‑Fi/BT modules to reduce cabling and increase connectivity. Advantech also integrated WISE‑PaaS/RMM for centralized remote management, yielding measurable outcomes: 12 USB connections, triple‑display capability, RAID‑1 redundancy for data protection, reduced cabling, improved device-status prediction and maintenance, and higher overall availability and connectivity.
