Shop Till You Drop with Advantech's e-Commerce Warehouse Logistics Solution

The Largest E-commerce Company, the largest e‑commerce platform in the United States, needed to upgrade its China warehouse logistics to shorten shipment times and improve customer experience. Their existing wall‑mount PCs and standard network switches could not handle higher cargo throughput, multi‑screen workstations, dust‑prone environments, and the massive data transmission required to coordinate automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The company engaged Advantech to provide industrial‑grade computing and networking solutions.

Advantech deployed MIC‑7700 fanless compact desktop systems at each sorting station, EKI‑7710 managed Ethernet switches with an optical fiber ring backbone, and EKI‑6332 industrial Wi‑Fi access points to cover AGV operations. The Advantech solution delivered dust‑resistant, high‑performance computing with multi‑display support and a stable wired/wireless network, shortening the time from product sorting to shipment, improving cargo‑sorting efficiency, and minimizing shipment errors to raise customer satisfaction.
