PayinTech Develops Advantech Mobile POS Solution for Cashless Payment Service

PayinTech, a French payments software company, needed industrial-grade hardware to run its cashless payment system at Hellfest (over 180,000 attendees). Consumer tablets lacked performance and had poorly placed NFC readers, so PayinTech partnered with Advantech (iRetail) to evaluate and deploy the AIM-37 10" industrial tablet with embedded NFC and an automatic printer cradle supporting Android 6.0 and IP54 protection.

Advantech supplied AIM-37 tablets and plug‑and‑play printer cradles to create onsite top-up kiosks and mobile POS units; PayinTech purchased 160 units for Hellfest and 140 more for future use. The Advantech solution shortened queues, sped up ordering, reduced payment errors, and will become PayinTech’s standard hardware for upcoming European events.
