Caribbean Resort operates a dispersed campus where reliable air conditioning is essential and equipment failures (for example, compressor breakdowns) lead to costly overseas replacements. The resort needed a way to monitor pumps and compressors that had no network interfaces and were scattered across a wide area to enable preventative maintenance. Advantech assisted by deploying the Wzzard Intelligent Sensing Platform to address this challenge.

Advantech’s implementation connected industry‑standard temperature, vibration, current and flow sensors to Wzzard Intelligent Edge Nodes and a Spectre Network Gateway, creating a self‑healing wireless mesh with secure connectivity to dashboards and the cloud. The solution delivered real‑time dashboards, predictive analytics and SMS/email alerts, which reduced downtime, cut emergency replacement costs and extended equipment life—providing measurable decreases in failures and related expenses for the Caribbean Resort.
