Leading Presentation Switcher Making Company - Customer Case Study

Leading Presentation Switcher Making Company, a maker of advanced video processing and presentation control systems, needed a board-level solution that met strict quality specs (N3710-class CPU, 4GB DRAM, 32GB flash), custom BIOS and software integration, and a very tight timeline. No other board vendors could meet their requirements quickly, so Advantech stepped in and delivered evaluation units rapidly to accelerate the customer’s development schedule.

Advantech supplied the SOM-3568 Qseven system-on-module, offering Intel gen‑8 graphics, support for up to 3 simultaneous independent displays and next‑generation 4K output, hardware decoding for HEVC/H.265, VP8/VP9, and onboard memory options up to 8GB DDR3L and 32GB eMMC. Advantech’s engineering task force integrated the module with the customer’s software, ODM chassis and rack designs, meeting the technical requirements and enabling faster development and project completion—allowing the customer’s system to support multiple HD feeds and expanded I/O as planned.
