Japanese Brand Restaurant - Customer Case Study

Japanese Brand Restaurant in Taipei was experiencing long customer lines that spilled into the mall hallway, creating congestion and poor customer experience. To address this, the restaurant deployed Advantech’s intelligent queue management system, including Advantech UTC-520 21.5” all-in-one touch terminals with thermal printers, a digital signage player with a 42” LCD display, and cloud-based queue management software.

Advantech implemented self-service kiosks, a tablet calling app, SMS notifications, QR-based mobile status checking and real-time display of queue status, plus reporting tools. The solution streamlined queuing, enabled automatic notifications and real-time updates, and gave managers measurable analytics (daily reports, average wait times and customer counts) to reduce wait times and improve operational efficiency.
