U.S. Agriculture Corporation, a farming company in the northern U.S., was struggling with severe water shortages, pest infestations and insufficient human resources while trying to scale safe organic production. Advantech stepped in with its intelligent agriculture offering, deploying a UBC-330 RISC box PC, WISE-1000 Series IoT nodes (WISE-1021 with WISE-1251/1252 modules) and the WISE-Cloud/WISE-PaaS management software to provide real‑time sensing and remote control of farm environments.

Advantech’s integrated system linked soil and air sensors to the UBC-330 gateway and automated irrigation, pest control and energy systems through the WISE-1021 nodes and cloud management, enabling remote farm management and optimized temperature/moisture control.
