How Advantech’s Innovative Solutions Are Advancing Manufacturing in Thailand

IBCON Co., Ltd., an automation system integrator in Thailand, needed to modernize factory monitoring without replacing existing equipment or adding extensive cabling in space-constrained, cost-sensitive facilities. To meet this challenge they partnered with Advantech and adopted its integrated automation suite — including WebAccess/SCADA along with WISE-4050 wireless I/O modules and the UNO-2473G embedded automation computer — to enable compact, flexible wireless data acquisition and visualization.

Advantech delivered a turnkey platform combining WebAccess/SCADA’s browser-based HTML5 dashboards and analytics with WISE-4050 wireless I/O (RTC‑timestamped data) and the rugged, small-footprint UNO-2473G gateway. The solution supported remote monitoring (up to 1,024 clients), minimized wiring and installation time, and enabled rapid deployment. As a result, IBCON’s customers achieved cost-effective installations, reduced maintenance and manual monitoring, and improved operational efficiency through data-driven scheduling, trend analysis, and centralized control.
