Leading Transportation Company operates unmanned Main Networking Hubs that connect local cameras, radar and speed detectors across its interstate system. Advantech delivered a pre‑configured, one‑stop package — including WISE‑4220‑S231A wireless temperature/humidity sensor nodes, WISE‑4012 I/O modules, SmartStart BB‑SL30210110‑SWH LTE IoT Gateway, current transducers, power supplies and rackmount hardware — integrated with Node‑RED for simple setup and local dashboards. The Advantech system sends condition data to the central control room over the customer’s private network, issues alarms when thresholds are exceeded, and is fully expandable; this reduced manual inspections and maintenance effort, lowered the risk of overheating and corrosion, and kept data secure on the department’s network.
