Contrast Lighting launches Ardito expansion with Advanta Design in 8 weeks

Advanta Design partnered with Contrast Lighting, a manufacturer of architectural lighting fixtures, to overcome a production challenge for their new Ardito recessed lighting line. Contrast Lighting needed expertise in aluminum die casting design to create custom parts that would improve both assembly efficiency and production throughput for this new product family.

The solution from Advanta Design involved an accelerated design process for over 30 die-cast components, creating a system with around 200 configurations that ensured perfect fit and safety. Advanta's on-site team also provided essential training in die-casting design and CAD techniques, enabling the Contrast team to independently sustain the product line. The partnership was so successful that Contrast Lighting returned five years later to expand the family with new suspended lighting components, and they have since independently developed over twenty new parts using the manufacturing processes Advanta introduced.
