CanPrev Natural Health Products Ltd., a Toronto-based maker and distributor of natural health brands, had outgrown QuickBooks Advanced Inventory and needed a 6-user, cloud-hosted inventory and EDI solution that could ensure correct picking of very similar SKUs, track batch traceability and expiry dates, manage inventory movement and reordering, and integrate with their accounting system. AdvancePro Technologies implemented its cloud-hosted AdvancePro system integrated with QuickBooks, automating purchasing, order processing, inventory management and shipping, importing orders from CanPrev’s CMS, enforcing UPC scanning for accuracy and automatically assigning active batch codes to prevent shipping outdated lots, while handling hosting and disaster recovery. The result: CanPrev doubled sales, increased SKUs without adding staff, and significantly reduced costly order errors while gaining full lot traceability.
