A Advanced Case Study

Preview of the University College London Case Study

University College London (UCL) generates over £3m in efficiencies via eProcurement

University College London (UCL) needed to improve procurement adoption across a diverse academic user base, cut order-processing costs, and give staff access to preferred suppliers while supporting a full procure-to-pay process. UCL worked with Advanced using its eProcurement and invoicing solutions, integrated with Oracle iProcurement.

Advanced rolled out a single punch-out connection for supplier catalogues, approved purchase orders, and eInvoices, while giving UCL control over catalogues, pricing, and reporting. The result was over 60,000 electronic invoices processed in 2013 and more than £3m in efficiencies, with better contract adherence, spend visibility, and a simpler online purchasing experience.
