Tideway, the licensed infrastructure provider behind London’s £4.2 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel “super sewer,” needed secure, scalable IT support to keep a huge construction project moving while avoiding back-office maintenance. With at least 400 users and the need to scale up to 2,000 across mobile, desk, and office teams, Tideway selected Advanced to manage its IT services and support its cloud and infrastructure needs.
Advanced implemented a flexible cloud-based Platform as a Service, plus 24/7 managed services for desktop, mobile/tablet devices, and core systems such as finance and HR, hosted in a tier III data centre. This improved security and collaboration, supported ISO 27001 compliance, and helped Tideway complete the project on time and within budget while achieving significant savings and higher staff productivity.
