A Advanced Case Study
The Woodland Trust, a conservation charity, was struggling with fragmented supporter data across multiple siloed systems, making it hard to communicate effectively with members and tailor asks based on interests, giving history, and location. With around 180 users working across several sites, the charity needed a CRM that could unify data, reduce risk, and improve efficiency without relying heavily on IT. Advanced’s CARENG CRM solution was selected to meet those needs.
Advanced implemented CARENG across the Woodland Trust in early 2011, supported by extensive training for staff. The new system gave the charity a single, connected view of supporters across all departments, enabling better segmentation, more personalized communications, and stronger fundraising and cross-marketing opportunities. As a result, the Woodland Trust improved supporter engagement, reduced administration costs, and strengthened revenue generation by using more integrated, automated processes.
