St. Margaret’s Hospice, one of the UK’s largest hospices, needed to move away from time-consuming paper records that were stored in multiple locations and open to error. It chose Advanced’s Crosscare clinical management system to support a more digital, flexible way of managing patient information across inpatient, community, day care and bereavement services.
Advanced implemented Crosscare to centralize records in real time, making information easier to access and more accurate for clinicians and staff. The impact was significant: paper use dropped from hundreds of sheets per patient to about half a dozen, updates became instantly visible across sites, and reporting and auditing were made quicker and easier, giving staff more time to focus on patient care.
