Ignite Technologies Uses Data Center Automation to Manage the Cloud
Ignite Technologies, a Frisco, Texas–based SaaS provider of secure enterprise content delivery, needed a scalable way to manage its datacenter and cloud-based workflows after outgrowing Windows Task Scheduler and custom scripts. The customer’s challenge was to reliably orchestrate thousands of runbook and data-processing tasks across diverse servers and databases while ensuring secure, timely delivery of content to customers.
Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. implemented its ActiveBatch workload automation platform to centralize and automate Ignite Technologies’ datacenter operations, using event-driven workflows, SQL jobs and cross-platform integrations. The result: ActiveBatch runs over 250,000 jobs per day for Ignite with a 99.9% success rate, delivering centralized control, improved uptime monitoring (including customer polling for live streaming) and secure, automated handling of customer data.
