Faced with rapid growth (about 50% year-over-year) and the need to process payment files for more than 100 customer accounts daily with strict accuracy and timeliness requirements, Ecount selected Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc.'s job scheduling product ActiveBatch to bring the scalability, management control, and process analysis it required.

Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. implemented ActiveBatch to provide near–real-time, event- and data-driven job scheduling, active variables, auditing/logging, and high-availability features (checkpoint restarts, workload balancing and customizable alerts). The solution has enabled Ecount to coordinate complex processes, maintain service levels while expanding internationally, and continue growth (ActiveBatch has been in production since 2001), supporting daily processing at scale and helping the company pursue its goal to double business volume.
