U.S. Army validates assured PNT with Advanced Navigation at 0.012% error over 65 km

The U.S. Army required a resilient navigation solution for its operations in GNSS-degraded and denied environments, a critical vulnerability on the modern battlefield. Advanced Navigation participated in the Army's APEX program to demonstrate its inertial-centric technology as a solution for delivering high-accuracy, assured positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) under active electronic warfare conditions.

Advanced Navigation successfully deployed its Boreas D90 inertial navigation system integrated with aiding sensors like its Chimera Land laser velocity sensor. The solution demonstrated exceptional dead-reckoning accuracy, achieving a 0.012% error over a 65 km route during live GNSS jamming. This performance validated Advanced Navigation's technology as a reliable and resilient foundation for successful navigation in contested threat landscapes.
