New York State Department of Health builds an interactive EMS memorial with Advanced Kiosks and 140+ searchable honoree profiles

The New York State Department of Health partnered with Advanced Kiosks to create a modern, interactive memorial for EMS professionals lost in the line of duty. Their challenge was to move beyond a traditional static monument to a solution that could present detailed biographies and service histories for over 140 honorees, allow for easy searching, be updated over time, and be accessible both on-site and remotely for families.

Advanced Kiosks implemented a customized Tribute Station using an Enviro Kiosk model. This solution provided a searchable directory of honorees, individual profile pages, and a tool for families to submit updated information. A QR code also enabled remote access via a companion website. The result is a lasting, dignified, and expandable digital memorial that brings each honoree's story to life and can grow with future dedications, ensuring the tribute remains current and accessible.
