ADVANCE streamlined travel and expense management for a leading non-profit organization

Advance Solutions partnered with a global non-profit agency to address its complex travel management challenges. The customer required a custom travel application capable of processing cash advances and unique travel workflows for its numerous agencies and business units. Because these intricate processes could not be built within the existing Oracle system, the client needed a new solution that would integrate with it seamlessly, all while both the new application and its supporting processes were being designed concurrently.

Advance Solutions designed and implemented a comprehensive Travel Application within the ServiceNow platform. The solution featured a travel catalog with end-to-end workflow management, complex logic for calculating daily subsistence allowance (DSA), and a bidirectional integration with Oracle to synchronize financial data. This enabled self-service travel requests for staff, provided travel processors with a centralized management system, and streamlined the entire travel process. The project successfully improved efficiency for both travelers and processors, maximized the value of the client's existing ServiceNow investment, and delivered a seamless, consolidated workflow.
