Sweepstakes, a camera giveaway promotion for a photography shop, needed a scalable way to generate new customer leads and learn more about entrants. Advance Ohio ran a targeted enter-to-win sweepstakes campaign, using digital display ads on MLive.com and an email send to Advance Local opt-in subscribers to drive awareness and entries.

Advance Ohio’s combined display and email approach produced 2,764 entries from an approximate 120,000-email blast over a three-week period, and 94% of entrants completed a short survey. The campaign delivered 18% opt-ins (501 new leads) for future marketing, giving the photography shop 500+ qualified contacts and actionable customer insights.
