How Port of Seattle Inspires Engagement in Their Wellness Program

The Port of Seattle, which directly employs around 2,000 people across airport, maritime and terminal operations, faced the challenge of sustaining employee engagement amid rapid regional growth and increasing service demands. Aduro supported the Port of Seattle by enabling a scalable, culture-driven wellness and engagement approach through its employee engagement/wellness platform that powers the Port’s Spirit and Wellness Program.

Aduro helped the Port implement a participatory program where employees across locations propose and join activities—from hikes and volunteer projects to professional development and internal tours—creating a holistic approach to well-being. The result: engagement rose from 28% to nearly 90%, stronger workplace connections and a more motivated, effective workforce, demonstrating Aduro’s measurable impact on the Port of Seattle’s culture and performance.
