Galloway Township Public School - Customer Case Study

Galloway Township Public Schools, a Pre-K to eight district in New Jersey, faced significant challenges with an unreliable and unmanageable Linksys Wi-Fi network. Their small IT team of five could not centrally manage the access points, leading to frequent classroom blackouts and an unsustainable burden of manually troubleshooting outages. They partnered with vendor ADTRAN to find a robust and manageable wireless solution.

ADTRAN implemented a solution featuring 186 access points managed by its vWLAN virtual management suite. This gave the IT staff complete visibility and control over the entire network from a single pane of glass, allowing them to proactively address issues before they impacted classrooms. The result was a highly reliable network that supports over 1,700 concurrent devices and has ensured zero failures during critical PARCC online testing, providing worry-free connectivity for students and teachers.
