A Adtran Case Study
Blue Valley Tele-Communications (BVTC), a service provider for rural northeast Kansas, faced the challenge of a network incapable of providing the speed and reliability needed for economic growth and improved quality of life. This lack of bandwidth severely impacted local education, healthcare, and business development. To overcome this, BVTC partnered with ADTRAN to implement a solution.
BVTC deployed the ADTRAN Total Access 5000 with the Optical Networking Edge (ONE) solution, enabling the delivery of Gigabit services. The results were transformative: students gained access to distance learning, healthcare providers could send diagnostic images to national experts, and local businesses expanded their customer bases. ADTRAN's solution connected nearly 7,000 households and over 500 businesses, directly fostering job growth and providing residents with opportunities previously unavailable to them.
