The Blue Horizons Garden Resort, a picturesque Caribbean destination, faced the challenge of upgrading its outdated and fragmented Wi-Fi network to meet growing guest demand for bandwidth. The legacy system, utilizing equipment from multiple vendors and carriers, lacked a central management point, creating significant IT inefficiencies. Partnering with telecommunications provider Digicel, the resort sought a scalable and reliable solution from vendor ADTRAN.

ADTRAN implemented its ProCloud Wi-Fi Managed Service, a cloud-based platform providing centralized management and robust mesh networking capabilities. This solution allowed for the streamlined installation of 17 access points, covering 32 rooms and a conference center. The ADTRAN deployment resulted in a highly reliable wireless service with 99.99% guaranteed uptime, enabling the resort to easily scale its network to meet fluctuating guest demands while offloading all management to Digicel.
