Because the product is high-priced and buyers take a long time to decide, the lean four-person team found typical turn-and-burn paid-social tactics ineffective and needed a personalized, customer-centric marketing approach tailored to a niche audience.
They implemented AdRoll’s ecommerce platform with Shopify Plus to run coordinated AI-driven prospecting, retargeting, and abandoned-cart recovery across social, web, and email—combining ads and email and auto-repopulating carts for higher conversion. The results were strong: a 35x YTD average ROAS (188 conversions attributed), 17.8x ROAS for July 2021 retargeting, and a 44.5x ROAS from abandoned-cart recovery, driving significant year-over-year revenue growth.
