A AdRem Software Case Study
Bitways S.r.l., an Italian ICT provider for a transport and logistics group, needed to monitor a distributed network of 152 critical nodes across 19 locations — including 13 switches, 20 access points, 40 physical and virtual servers and about 200 users — with a three-person IT team. The challenge was to gain real-time visibility and proactive alerts while freeing time for other projects and improving service quality.
They deployed NetCrunch on a datacenter virtual machine and used VPNs to monitor remote sites, gaining real-time dashboards, email alerts for Windows service failures and server health (CPU, RAM, disk), and detailed reports. NetCrunch was easy to install and configure (operational in a day, optimized the next), required only basic network knowledge and no external support, which saved time and allowed the team to focus on new services and higher-quality delivery.
