Case Study: DirtLogic, LLC achieves $70K–$100K in R&D tax credits with ADP TotalSource

A ADP Case Study

Preview of the DirtLogic, LLC Case Study

Savings realized through R&D tax credits

DirtLogic, LLC is a Portland-based civil engineering firm (est. 2001) that uses GPS and 3D modeling to help contractors and developers manage site grading. Owner Matthew Gebarowski and his eight-person team suspected they might qualify for R&D tax credits but lacked the time and expertise to identify eligible activities, leaving a significant financial opportunity untapped.

After moving to ADP TotalSource, ADP’s R&D tax credit team reviewed DirtLogic’s work and identified $70,000–$100,000 in eligible credits for the prior three years. The credit recovery provided funds to reinvest in the business, freed up the owner’s time to focus on growth, and gave ongoing tax support and peace of mind for future eligibility.
