Party City, a national retail leader in party supplies, needed to transform paper‑heavy, manual HR and recruiting processes that made it difficult to hire and manage the large seasonal workforce (roughly 25,000 hires) and created compliance and payroll burdens. The company wanted a better candidate experience, more pay options for employees, and improved compliance and reporting.
Partnering with ADP, Party City implemented ADP Recruitment Management, myADP, integrated payroll/benefits/time, mobile self‑service and the Wisely card—plus built‑in WOTC screening. The automated solution delivered near‑100% WOTC compliance (returning just under $1M), freed HR from administrative tasks so it could focus on strategy, improved candidate access and employee pay visibility, and strengthened reporting and auditability.
