PTC, a global software company with about 7,000 employees serving 30,000 clients, faced a fragmented payroll landscape—28 vendors and 30 payroll systems with split HR and accounting responsibilities and inconsistent people data. The company’s goals were to consolidate vendors, establish a single source of truth for personnel and payroll data, and strengthen compliance.
PTC partnered with ADP to centralize payroll into one global solution, standardizing pay elements, integrating with its HCM, and rolling out employee self-service. The transformation delivered more accurate, timely data for decision-making, improved compliance and employee access to payslips, saved roughly half an FTE in manual work, and earned PTC ADP’s 2024 Global Solutions at Work award.
