The Hershey Company, a 125-year-old consumer goods leader with about 80,000 employees, wanted to strengthen its global recruiting to support growth in digital, analytics and diverse talent while improving candidate experience. Recruitments costs were high, processes relied on multiple vendors, scaling to business needs was difficult, and cost per hire exceeded industry benchmarks.
Partnering with ADP RPO and Talent Acquisition Services, Hershey consolidated vendors, used analytics to optimize campus and retail hiring (placing hires closer to home to improve retention), and gained scalable RPO capacity for volume surges. The result: lower recruitment spend and cost per hire, time-to-fill reduced by about a week, sustained candidate quality, and a more consistent, branded candidate experience.
