Equinix, the world’s largest IBX data center and colocation provider with about 7,500 employees in 24 countries, faced growing pains after major acquisitions: fragmented time and payroll processes, paper timecards, and low confidence in PTO accruals that threatened global payroll reliability. The company needed a scalable, consistent approach to time and labor as its non‑U.S. footprint grew.
Equinix launched the Employee Payment Information Capabilities (EPIC) program and implemented ADP Enterprise Global eTime integrated with Workday and ADP payroll systems, rolling the solution out across five countries. The integration standardized processes, automated workflows and daily data syncs, improved manager and associate experiences, increased visibility into time tracking and scheduling, and delivered measurable efficiency and payroll reliability.
