Case Study: Washington Federal achieves 50% fewer HR calls and automated reporting with ADP Workforce Now (ADP)

A ADP Case Study

Preview of the Washington Federal Case Study

Managing a large company with a small HR staff

Washington Federal, a Seattle-based bank founded in 1917 with about 2,000 employees across eight western states, faced growing HR strain after several acquisitions. A small HR team was overloaded with routine payroll and benefits inquiries, manual report creation, and complex multi-state compliance issues, and an attempted switch to a competitor’s system almost failed shortly before launch.

Implementing ADP Workforce Now gave employees self-service access to payroll, W-2s and time-off balances and provided ADP’s compliance resources and implementation support. Calls to HR fell by about 50%, reporting became automated and accurate, and the HR team regained time to focus on strategic priorities like recruitment and retention, while executives gained fast access to up-to-date data.
