DSI Construction is a family-run Spokane, WA builder with nearly 45 years in business that has doubled revenue over the last decade and expanded into Idaho and Montana. Rapid growth stretched its one-person payroll team and legacy, 1970s-era processes: payroll took three to four days per pay period for about 50 employees, prevailing-wage calculations and reporting were manual, and multi-state compliance and audit risk were growing concerns.

Since adopting ADP Workforce Now in 2019, DSI automated payroll and compliance workflows, cutting payroll processing to one day even as headcount exceeded 90 (98 employees total). ADP’s construction expertise and state-by-state guidance improved compliance, reporting and audit readiness, the ADP mobile app reduced HR inquiries by giving employees direct access to PTO and time data, and DSI is now planning Sage Intacct integration for real-time payroll-financial visibility.
