Exploring new frontiers: Partnership with ADP® Next Gen HCM

LifeMart, a division of Care.com, provides employee discount benefits and services ranging from travel and electronics to childcare and senior care. Having partnered with ADP since 2012, LifeMart was invited to be a pilot third‑party developer for ADP’s Next Gen HCM platform and faced the challenge of quickly building a secure, compliant, and globally scalable app that could deliver personalized offers while meeting accessibility and HIPAA requirements — all during the disruption of the pandemic.

Using ADP’s low‑code Next Gen HCM platform, LifeMart built a minimally viable product in two weeks and iteratively enhanced it, leveraging drag‑and‑drop components, CSS/JavaScript development, and ADP’s data-handling to avoid direct access to personal information. The result was a flexible, localized solution able to personalize discounts by employee attributes, reach ADP’s broad client base across currencies and languages, comply with security and accessibility standards, and roll out new offerings with minimal resources as an ongoing partnership with ADP.
