Viejas Casino & Resort, a premier San Diego casino hotel, sought to improve operational efficiency and create a better working life for its team by modernizing HR and payroll processes that were previously manual and paper‑heavy. Management and staff needed faster access to scheduling, timecards and payroll information so managers could spend less time on admin work and more time delivering a world‑class guest experience.

Viejas implemented ADP Vantage HCM and the ADP Mobile app—providing single sign‑on, self‑service tools and Optimized Scheduling—to streamline timekeeping, PTO requests and forecasting. The change cut paperwork, improved reporting and accountability, and enabled real‑time labor decisions; over a 12‑month period (July 2021–June 2022) 2,294 approved time‑off requests translated to an estimated $56,000 in payroll admin time savings, while managers regained time to focus on guests.
