The company needed to rapidly develop digital editions for hundreds of titles, create interactive content that complemented print and web, collect and analyze app usage, and demonstrate measurable value to advertisers.
Wolters Kluwer Health used Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (Enterprise) with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Marketing Cloud/Analytics to let nontechnical staff build multimedia iPad apps, embed video/audio/images, and offer bundled print+digital ad packages. The program delivered digital editions of more than 150 journals, drove roughly 1.2 million iPad issue visits, increased overall engagement by 68%, and produced measurable ad engagement (about 16 seconds average unique ad view), boosting author visibility and advertiser uptake.
