Case Study: The University of Auckland achieves streamlined, future‑ready digital experiences with Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe)

A Adobe Case Study

Preview of the University of Auckland Case Study

University uses Adobe Experience Manager to create higher-impact digital experiences for students, staff, and alumni

The University of Auckland, New Zealand’s largest university with more than 40,000 students and over 20,000 web pages, needed to replace a heavily customized CMS that could no longer keep pace with technology or support its web roadmap for personalization and mobile. The challenge was to migrate hundreds of sites and 300+ content publishers to a robust, easy‑to‑use platform that would reduce reliance on in‑house development and deliver out‑of‑the‑box functionality.

The university implemented Adobe Experience Manager within Adobe Marketing Cloud, including digital asset management, migrating sites smoothly (one to two sites weekly) and centralizing assets and workflows. Results included faster, simplified content creation and publishing, reduced development overhead, better version control and publisher UX, standardized, stable platform adoption, and a strong foundation to roll out personalization, mobile responsiveness and integrated analytics/social capabilities.
